SWITCH P.E.P. – Ramon Zuliani

Friday 4th November 2022 at 18.30 in Florence, at the B9 of the Manifattura Tabacchi there will be the inauguration of the second exhibition of our project Switch P.E.P. (Photo Exhibition Program).

Ramon Zuliani born in 1985 as a self-taught and freelance photographer, based between Venice and Milan,
Linked to analogue photography and his study of him under various techniques and forms, over the years he has brought his photography linked to the world
street also in different fields and sectors related to the fashion world and in the publishing field.

He realizes several photographic projects in the skateboarding sector collaborating with brands such as ADIDAS, VANS, NEW BALANCE, CONVERSE
which over the years led him to travel around the world and publish works in various magazines and independent publishing houses.

“Friends” is a photographic project that documents reality
past and present of skateboarding in Italy.

He wants to enhance and give light to the faces of people and skaters who are part of it,
telling a story of them through my photography.

An archive collected through years of travels, adventures, tours, experiences and sharing
with whom they have close friendships where they have lived adventures, projects,
shared floors, beds, set up tents, ate on the street, lost in the car looking for the spot.
I dreamed of those impossible tricks that were seen in the videos, the beers drunk to celebrate the closed tricks
and those not, to broken tables, stolen backpacks and lost flights.

The ideas of changing what we didn’t like, the desire to build and do but also undo,
the fuck to stay together and grow, all this has allowed us to collect an archive that represents
the vision of what skateboarding is for the photographer.
